Lesson 1 - Creating A Sentence
Speak My Mind learns to predict what you want to say.
Next word predictions will appear once you have tapped on a word.
If the word you want to use doesn't appear on the first predictions page, tap the icon at the middle or swipe to see other suggestions.
Tapping on the sentence will say the whole sentence and continue to a new sentence prediction.
Lesson 2 - Favorites
You can easily add frequently used sentences to your favorites.
- Create a sentence and press on the favorite icon (star) underneath the sentence (the star will turn golden).
- The sentence will be added to your favorites category.
- To select a a favorite sentence , enter the favorites category and tap on the sentence.
- You can remove a sentence from your favorites by tapping on the favorite icon or by swiping/dragging the sentence to the left (In the favorites category).
Lesson 3 - Categories
- To browse the categories tap on the categories icon at the middle of the Dock.
- Enter any category by tapping on the category icon.
- Browse the category pages by tapping on the category icon at the middle of the screen or by swiping left and right.
- A long press on the icon will take you to the last page.
- You can change the appearance from circular to grid and vice versa in the sidebar menu under 'APPEARANCE' .

Lesson 5 - Dock
The Dock is the bar of icons that sits at the bottom or side of your screen. It provides easy access to your favorite words and categories.
Simply long press the word/category and than press on the 'pin' icon to add it to the Dock.
You can rearrange the order of the icons by long pressing and dragging them. To remove an icon from the Dock, drag it to the trash can at the middle of the Dock.
Lesson 6 - Lock
Double tap on the lock icon at the top right corner to lock/unlock the dock and sidebar menu.
Lesson 7 - Add New Category
- Open the sidebar options menu and select 'Edit Library'.
- Tap the plus sign at the top right corner.
- Enter the name of the category .
- You can optionally add an image , the default image is the first item in the category.
- Tap √ to create the category.
Lesson 8 - Add New Word
- Open the sidebar options menu and select 'Edit Library'.
- Enter the category you want to add words to.
- Tap the plus sign at the top right corner and choose 'Add New Word'.
- Enter the name of the word .
- Enter the text that you want the app to speak when tapping on the word ( Audio(TTS) field ).
- Add a picture from the app's pics, your device photos or take a new picture with your camera .
- Tap √ to create the word.
* You can choose the 'Browse Words Dictionary' option to add existing words to the category.
* You can add new words without a specific category directly to the Dictionary, using the same procedure.
Lesson 9 - Audio Settings
You can choose your voice from a from a large catalog of various voices and accents.
You can modify the speech rate as well as the voice pitch.
Lesson 10 - Backup & Restore
Speak My Mind learns what you want to say, it constantly changes and adapts to your personal preferences.
We know how important your history is, so we added an easy way to backup and restore your data (learned predictions, categories, words, favorites).
Your data is backed up to your iCloud account and can be restored on any of your compatible iOS devices.
